My Everyday Look
How to create a radiant flawless make-up look in 10-15min
Let me start by saying you don’t need to spend hours in front of the mirror to feel presentable, confident and ready to start your the day. We all have days that we can’t wake up, or simply just don’t have time to spend 30 minutes in front of the mirror – LIFE HAPPENS! Here are a few of my favourite tips to get your face on in no time
Step 1: Tinted Sunblock
Get your hands on a tinted sunblock that works for your skin. I LOVE Heliocare tinted sunblock since it protects your skin while evening out your skin tone and adding that heathy glow. By using your favourite tinted sunblock you protect your skin while looking healthy and radiant. Don’t be scared to mix two colours to create the perfect shade for your complexion.
Step 2: Concealer
Use your concealer to colour correct specific areas you find your tinted sunblock does not cover fully. I use my concealer under my eyes since that is my problem area. You can also use your concealer to cover that blemish that hits at the most inopportune time.
Step 3: Liquid highlighter
This is a an extra step that is not necessary, it just adds to that extra glow!! Highlight those areas where you would like to reflect more light.
Step 4: Contour and Highlight with powder
Contouring will define your face nicely while enhancing your features. I love adding a bit of definition to my face, especially my cheekbones. I ALWAYS contour by forming a 3-shape starting from my hairline to my jaw (just think the number 3 and your contouring can’t go wrong). After contouring, I like going in with my highlighter to highlight the top of my cheekbone as well as the tip of my nose and cupid’s bow.
Step 5: Use your contouring powder to add warmth to your eyelids
This will add some colour to your eyelids without any effort of trying to find that damn eye shadow pallet. An important step for that flawless finish!
Step 6 : Mascara
Choose a mascara that makes your lashes appear longer and thicker.
- Important tip – start at the root ladies, this will create a fuller, thicker lash finish!
Step 7: Eyebrows
Eyebrows on flick is not just a saying – it’s an actual fact! Eyebrows frame your face and a step best not to neglect. l I would suggest choosing a powder or pencil and just fill in those gaps to create a fuller brow. For this natural look you don’t need to make them too dark or much thicker, just fill in the missing pieces.
Now you are ready to run out the door without leaving your confidence behind!!
